File Sequence Merge

File Sequence Merge is designed to resequence and merge photograph files.

When taking large numbers of photographs in a session they can span folders on a memory card or just spanning memory cards. This program was created to allow these photos to renamed so that they can be managed as one group.

Usage:

Select Source Directory to display files to be rename. Add the files to the Files to Process column. Files from multiple Source Directories can be processed in the same batch. Next, select the Target Directory for where the processed file will be deposited. The leading text of the file name can be modified as well as the number of characters used in the sequence number portion of the file. Lastly click start and the files renamed and move to the target directory. When completed the column under the start button will list the new file names.

This program currently has one significant limitation; all of the files must be under the same drive letter. The program can't move files from one drive to another, even thought if doesn't prevent you from trying.
